Applaud is a platform where users plan, document, and share tasks.
We want the platform to remain respectful, constructive, and safe.
By using Applaud, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines ("Guidelines").
1. What Applaud Is For
Applaud is intended for content related to:
- Work (academic or professional).
- Fitness and training.
- Personal projects.
- Habits and routines.
- Personal development and goal progress.
2. Respect Other Users
You may not post or share content or messages that include:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation.
- Threats or encouragement of violence.
- Targeted abuse or humiliation.
- Repeated unwanted messaging.
3. Hate Speech and Discrimination
You may not post content or messages that attack or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics, including but not limited to race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
4. Sexual Content
You may not post pornography or explicit sexual content, nudity intended for sexual purposes, or any sexual content involving minors (immediate removal and permanent ban).
5. Self-Harm and Dangerous Content
You may not post content or messages that promote or encourage:
- Self-harm or suicide.
- Eating disorder encouragement.
- Dangerous challenges.
- Illegal activity.
6. Privacy and Consent
Do not share personal information, private screenshots, or private messages without consent, or images of others without permission, where consent is reasonably expected.
7. Spam and Impersonation
Do not spam the platform with repetitive content, scam or mislead users, or impersonate other people or organizations.
8. Reporting and Enforcement
Users can report posts or accounts within the app. Reports are reviewed in accordance with these Guidelines and other considerations.
In response to reports, we may take action, including but not limited to warnings, content removal, account suspension, and permanent account bans.
We reserve the right to remove any content or users that violate these Guidelines or create risk to the Applaud community.
